Mr. Rawls Assistant Principal
Greetings Tara Magnet High Parents and Community, It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as the Assistant Principal this year. This is my fourteenth year serving in educational Leadership. Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, I had many instructional leadership experiences including mentor teacher, department head, and curriculum support team leader in East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. Even these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher and athletic coach at heart. I also have 8 years of classroom teaching experience in East Baton Rouge Parish Schools. My educational background includes collegiate football at University Arkansas-Monticello, Bachelor of Education & Master's of Elementary Education from Southern University, and currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Leadership in Higher Learning from Southeastern Louisiana University. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.
